It manages to marry the humanity of Band of Brothers with the ingredients of an RTS. If you're tired of Civ, this is a very worthy heavyweight alternative.Ĭompany Of Heroes made World War II seem like new territory. With so many different combinations to sift through and take into account, it can be a little overwhelming in early playthroughs, but the way you can redefine your entire game plan on the fly, pivoting money-making dynamos into diplomatic powerhouses and research giants is also Humankind's greatest masterstroke. My 27k ships are the ones blockading Rhodes (the island).Strategy games is an enormous genre in PC gaming, with real-time, turn-based, 4X and tactics games all flying the same flag to stake their claim as the one true best strategy game. I am trying to move the 18k troops to the small pale purple island that has 6k troops on it and 14 ships in front of it. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the position of The Knights' ships in front of Rhodes, but I can't figure out how to attack those ships-my ships are busy blockading Rhodes, and I can't get them to attack The Knights' ships.Ĭan anyone figure out what I need to do? I have attached a screenshot. Now, I can't move any armies to Rhodes at all. I was able to get a few armies to attack Rhodes previously, but only one or two thousand troops would land at a time even though I had tried to move many more, and of course the troops that I successfully moved would be beaten. I click the armies and right-click on Rhodes, and sometimes I'll see an arrow connecting the armies to Rhodes and sometimes I won't, but the armies don't actually go to attack Rhodes. However, I'm completely stuck in my attempts to move armies from the mainland to Rhodes in order to conquer Rhodes. I have successfully conquered Cephalonia. I'm currently trying to take out Epiris, which only has Cephalonia left and is allied with The Knights, who only have Rhodes. Hi, I'm playing my first EUIV game as The Ottomans.
